WHO WE ARE.

BHM26.2 is Alabama’s only fully charitable race series, benefiting Magic Moments on Sunday, October 6 at The Hoover Metropolitan Complex in Hoover, Alabama. Comprised of a full marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5k and kid’s fun run, BHM26.2’s race weekend brings an exciting course to the Birmingham Metro Area.

With over 2,000 runners, this event is one of Birmingham’s most highly attended races with a family-friendly after party for participants and anyone who wants to support the cause.

Entering it’s seventh year, the race has raised over ONE MILLION DOLLARS for children in Alabama. All proceeds benefit Magic Moments. Each year, BHM26.2 brings together thousands of people with a common goal - to bring magic to children in Alabama with chronic life-threatening or acute life-altering conditions.

Founded in 1984, Magic Moments is the only wish granting organization dedicated exclusively to children in Alabama. We are a federally recognized 501(c)(3) funded through the generosity of individual, civic and corporate donations. In addition to fulfilling the dreams of children suffering with chronic life-threatening illnesses, we go beyond their magic moment with our annual Family Camp and additional no cost programs. We continually touch the lives of children struggling with illness in every corner of our state.
